Our vitrectomy recovery packages include an orthopedic sleep set with adjustable face-down cushions, a seated support chair for daytime face-down positioning, a desktop unit for laptops or books, a two-way mirror for watching TV without straining your neck, and a mattress slide unit. The Ultimate package includes all 4 pieces; the Comfort package includes 3 pieces; the Basic package includes 2 pieces.

How long does vitrectomy recovery equipment rental last?

Rentals are weekly. Most vitrectomy recovery patients rent for 1 to 3 weeks depending on their surgeon's face-down positioning requirements. You can extend your rental if needed by contacting us before your return date.

Does insurance cover vitrectomy recovery equipment rental?

Insurance reimbursement forms are included with every rental and can be downloaded immediately from your account. Many patients successfully file for reimbursement through their health insurance, FSA, or HSA. We provide the documentation you need to submit your claim.

How soon will my vitrectomy recovery equipment arrive?

Equipment ships via free FedEx Ground and is scheduled to arrive 1 to 2 days before your surgery date. You enter your surgery date at checkout and we coordinate delivery timing automatically. We ship from warehouses in Illinois and Nevada to reach you faster.

How do I return the vitrectomy recovery equipment?

Prepaid FedEx return labels are included with every rental. When your recovery is complete, simply repack the equipment and drop it at any FedEx location. There are no return shipping fees.
